MAGNESIUM CHOCOLATE CREPES by Lala's Plate

Makes: 6 crepes

• 1 ripe banana (magnesium + natural sweetness)

• 1 1/4 cup oat milk (or almond milk – magnesium boost)

• 2 tbsp KAILO Sleep Well  (rich in magnesium, collagen peptides, ashwaganda)

• 2 tbsp almond flour or oat flour

• 1/2 cup buckwheat flour (high in magnesium + gluten‑free)

• 1 tbsp tahini (magnesium + healthy fats)

• 1 tbsp maple syrup or honey (optional, to taste)

• 1 tsp vanilla extract

• 1/4 tsp sea salt

• Coconut oil or olive oil spray (for cooking)

Topping Suggestions:

• Fresh berries (strawberries, cherries, blueberries)

• Chopped pecans or walnuts (more magnesium!)

• A drizzle of tahini or melted dark chocolate

• Sprinkle of cacao nibs or shredded coconut

Method:

1. Blend all crepe ingredients in a blender until smooth. Let the batter sit for 5–10 mins to thicken.

2. Heat a non‑stick pan over medium heat and lightly grease it. Pour 1/4 cup of batter into the pan and swirl to spread thin.

3. Cook for 1–2 minutes each side or until edges lift easily. Repeat with remaining batter.

5. Fold or roll and top with berries, nuts, and a tahini or chocolate drizzle.

6. Enjoy warm, or chill for 10–15 mins for a firmer filling before serving.

So there you have it, a stack of magnesium-rich chocolate crepes that are as nourishing as they are mouth-watering. Perfect for a lazy Sunday morning, a post-workout snack, or a wholesome dessert, these beauties prove that comfort food can be good for you, too.

Don’t forget to get creative with your toppings and make it your own. And if you love this recipe, share it with a mate who could use a little more magnesium (and chocolate) in their life. Happy flipping!
