A mix in itself
Having French and Belgian roots, Dimitri Weber draws on the best of both worlds. The love for beauty and refinement, along with a predilection for the century of lights and the 1930s, and that something special that is creative and surrealist, which characterises Belgian and French artists, but if Belgian designers are favoured today by great fashion houses, this is perhaps because they have a sense of reality and resourcefulness.
Journey of discovery
After his studies in the Plastic Arts, Dimitri consecrated his body and soul to the world of perfumery. A passion he devotes to fragrances and odours since his childhood… rather than locking himself in a lab, he loves to breathe in the spirit of the times. Discovering consumers, he lends them an ear so as to understand their real aspirations.
Expert in Marketing, Director of training at Narciso Rodriguez, International Brand Ambassador at Cartier, Events, Communications and Merchandising manager (Yves Saint Laurent Beauté, Jean Paul Gaultier perfumes, Issey Miyake perfumes, Narciso Rodriguez, L’Oréal Prestige perfumes), his strength comes from the field.
In 2010, Dimitri became president of the jury for the Prix D’excellence de la Beauté Marie-Claire and the Sentsations Awards, the prestigious Belgian prize for perfume. The organisers were charmed by his expertise and simplicity.
In 2013 he moves to the land Down Under to explore untapped territories in the beauty and fragrance industry.

Multi-tasking and artistic director
More than 26 years in the perfumery field formed Dimitri’s taste and olfactory sense. Even if he is not « a nose », he is capable of envisioning a perfume and realizing it. Rather than concentrate on a chemical formula, he loves designing a project from a to z.
In 2006, he started he sets up his company and thanks to his broad vision, he went to the encounter of all the sectors so as to propose to them tailor-made projects from Paris to Sydney:
He then he created a collection of exclusive perfumes and of scented candles (House of Porters, Smart car, Merceds-Benz, luxury hotels).
For prestigious magazines, he developed original marketing initiatives around perfumes including the first perfume workshops ever organised in Europe, perfumed dinners and perfumed trips, well before these became a trend. There is no shortage of ideas as long as there is passion…
Consecration of his artistic gifts in 2007. He was asked to participate in the exposition Quai des Orfèvres in Brussels which wished to display in all its majesty its unique silver collection in the chateau de seneffe. Franco Dragone (Founder of Cirque du Soleil and Artistic Director of Céline Dion) and the press were overwhelmed.
The International Perfume Industry called upon him to organize prestigious events and launches which saw the important launch of the likes of the perfume Elie Saab, Narciso Rodriguez For Her, Cartier Baiser Volé and La Panthère. He became the media spokesperson in certain countries (Tom Ford and L’Oréal Prestige Parfums) or International brand ambassador around the world for Cartier, thanks to his flair for languages and his technique that charms the audience. Some brands in Paris and London never hesitated to call upon Dimitri to ask for advice during creation or operational marketing meetings.

In 2015, after a successful international career, Dimitri moved to Sydney following his partner and worked for Australia’s #1 fragrance distributor Cosmax Prestige and was in charge of Business development and education.
Goldfield & Banks Australia, Australia’s first fine fragrance house, was developed in that period and launched in November 2016.
Goldfield & Banks has won numerous awards and becomes quickly media’s and international customers’ favourite Australian perfume house.
Globe lover
Ever since childhood, Dimitri has had a taste for travel. On board of his parents’ boat, he wandered on canals and streams in the summer, already intrigued by the water’s innocent scent. Used to long-distance flights, he nourishes himself on meeting people, the mix of all the different cultures, with a predilection for the Middle East and China. He loves to let himself be intoxicated by the exquisite qualities of the wood, the incense, the beans, and the balms in the local souks. His suitcase is always packed
Inspirations
Nature, art books, novels, voyages, art-déco architecture, fashion and beauty… Dimitri draws inspiration for creating new perfumes from everything that nourishes the spirit of the times. He loves spending time in museums, pushing open the doors of old churches, reading Emile Zola’s Nana, Marcel Pagnol, Proust, and immersing himself in the universe of classical music. To relax and revitalise himself, he goes in the direction of Port Douglas in Tropical North Queensland where the area exults the fragrance of frangipani, ginger, figs, lime, mangoes, and pineapples all year long.
