by Lala's Plate

Cosy, nourishing & gut-loving

This warm berry crumble is everything you want on a chilly night — juicy, jammy berries bubbling beneath a golden, crunchy topping boosted with collagen. It’s sweet, slightly tart, packed with antioxidants, and perfect for supporting skin, gut, and joint health. Best served fresh out of the oven with a spoonful of coconut yoghurt, Greek yoghurt, or a scoop of vanilla ice cream.

Ingredients:

Serves 4–6

Berry Filling:

3 cups frozen mixed berries
2 tbsp maple syrup
2 tbsp KAILO Look Well mixed berry collagen powder
1 tbsp tapioca flour
1 tsp vanilla extract

Crumble Topping:

1 cup rolled oats
½ cup almond meal
1/3 cup coconut sugar
1/4 cup KAILO Look Well mixed berry collagen powder
½ tsp cinnamon
Pinch of salt
¼ cup melted coconut oil

To Serve:

Coconut yoghurt or vanilla ice cream

Method:

1.    Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F).

2.    In a baking dish, mix the berries with vanilla, maple syrup, collagen powder and tapioca flour. Use a spatula to evenly spread in the dish.

3.    In a separate bowl, combine oats, almond meal, collagen powder, cinnamon, and salt. Stir in coconut oil until crumbly.

4. Scatter the topping over the berries.

5. Bake for 30–35 minutes, or until golden on top and the berries are bubbling.
Cool slightly and serve warm with your favourite toppings.
